Identify, recommend and implement strategic growth initiatives for gas fueled engines. Develop a market segment view and recommend actions that deliver penetration and maximum ROI. Lead Deutz Corporation sales activity for new diesel engine range. Deliver sales growth targets and maximize return on investment by achieving gross margin targets. Locate and propose potential business by contacting potential customers; discovering and exploring opportunities, directly engaging in cold calling activities using all appropriate media. Must travel 50% of the time, which includes visiting national customer sites and 1-2 annual trips to Germany. Need 15 years exp. as Sales Director, Business Development Manager, Territory Manager or related; 15 yrs. managing teams and projects within the off-highway engine business. 5 years in sales role for internationally recognized engine brands. 5 yrs. alternative fuel sales/product management experience. 5 yrs. significant and wide sales channel leadership experience (from direct sales to distribution/dealer based). 5 yrs. exp. working with management level connections within other engine manufacturers.
